PRESIDENTIAL CITATION REQUIREMENTS

CLUB GOALS

ADMINISTRATION: Committee Rick Ryan, Bill Tregemba, Gina Coffman, Hal Hudson F.

1.     Enhance Club Meetings. 

a. Explore alternative set up; coffee pots and condiments on table.

b. Member Minute: Pot luck question answered by one member.

c. Announce speakers two weeks in advance.

2.     Hold three Club Functions with Spouses.  (Inner-Outer, Xmas, One other.

3.     Encourage all members attend another Rotary Club.

4.     Orchestrate one Vocational Tour.         

FOUNDATION: Committee Rise Wudarczyk, Don Lumpe, Austin Nothern, Susan Hsia

1.     Rotary International: Star Club Award with $100 contribution per member.

2.     TWR Youth Enrichment Fund: Raise $500 via member contributions and one fund raising event to increase foundation.

3.     Make TWR Youth Enrichment Grants by May 31, 2008.

4.     Hold two fund raising projects for Club General Fund.              

SERVICE: Committee Carolyn Conroy, Bill Nace, Leif Holiday, Kenny Sieh

1.     Community Service: Nurse Scholarship, KTWU Fund Drive, Highway Clean Up, Literacy Project with local school.

2.     International Service: Fund one Shelter Box, Partner with another Club in a water project or health project (Panama or India).

3.     RYLA: Sponsor two youths to RYLA.

4.     Interact: Continue support of Washburn Rural Interact Club.  Include Interact in a joint project with our Club.                            

 MEMBERSHIP: Committee Mike Malone, Alice Young, Bill Compton

1.     Increase Club Membership by 5 new members.

2.     Establish Membership Procedures to:

A.   Mentor member prospect.

B.   Educate prospects and members about Rotary International and our Club.

C.   Develop New Member participation program.

 PUBLIC RELATIONS: Committee Sharon Berner, Don Moses, Joe Fritton

1.     Publicize Youth Enrichment awards in the Topeka Capital Journal.

2.     Maintain and improve www.topekawestrotary.org.

3.     Participate in Public Image Campaign with other Topeka Clubs.
